What is NoneX™?
The Nonex™ technology is based on a non-detonating chemical compound, enclosed in a cartridge that reacts very quickly when it is triggered, producing an elevated volume of non-noxious gas, primarily composed of nitrogen and carbon dioxide.
When the NONEX™ cartridge is hermetically closed in a hole, the gas creates pressure on the sides of the hole and produces a breakage of the rock or cement; such breakage is often called breakaway. The NONEX™ cartridge use of a patent technology that increases the transfer of energy to the inside of the rock or cement to enhance the effectiveness of the breakage.
Waterproof Nonex™ cartridges
The NONEX™ cartridges are waterproof and can be used in humid holes or in situations in which one is working in dams, in which it is required to carry out a type of breakage that keeps in mind the time factor.
Nonex™ Cartridges
The NONEX™ cartridges break rock and cement with a reduced launch of material and with minimal vibrations and noise; they are available in the following diameters: 12 mm, 28 mm, 34 mm and 60 mm, with loads from 2 to 500 g. The NONEX™ cartridges are classified with number ONU UN 0432 pyrotechnic articles for technical use" and class "1.4S"; they were authorized for use in 26 states of the world, in which they are widely used for excavations in the civil sphere and for mining applications.

NoneX™ valuable help to mechanized excavation
The activity of NONEX™ does not give itself in antithesis to mechanized excavation but becomes a valuable ally, allowing an increased yield in the excavation phase containing costs and environmental hardships.
The limitation of vibrations and loud disturbances renders it particularly valuable for use in urban spheres. Excavation jobs speed up allowing the containment of both costs and completion times. In fact, being able to manage rock separations with limited intervention (which can free up tens of cubic meters each round) reduces the action of the hydraulic demolitions that intervene in a secondary phase for the fragmentation of materiale or the definitive separation of elements already disconnected from the mass.
How to use Nonex™
- Make a hole in the rock;
- Insert the cartridge;
- Fill the hole with sand;
- Trigger;
Triggering of explosive charges
The trigger system of NONEX™ cartridges is simple; all you need is a common conductor of throw line (electric cable) and it is not necessary to use expensive non-electric detonators or other similar products. One must simply connect the rheophores of the NONEX™ BREAK cartridge to the throw line conductor, that is then attached to an economic ignition device (exploder), which sends an electrical impulse to the cartridge trigger system.
